Frequently asked

What does Trakzo do?

It is a queue for tracks you want to own. Capture a track by identifying it from the speakers, saying it out loud, scanning a photo of a tracklist, or typing it. Trakzo then gives you buttons to find it on Beatport, Soundeo and other stores, plays a preview, shows key and BPM, and lets you mark it downloaded and sort it into crates. Your queue syncs across every device you sign in on.

Identify says “no match”. Why?

Identify listens for about ten seconds and needs a reasonably clean signal. Hold the phone closer to the speaker, avoid talking over it, and try during a clear section of the track rather than a transition. Unreleased edits and very new promos are often not in the database yet; add those by hand.

Identify, Scan or Voice says I have reached today’s limit

These three features cost Trakzo money per use, so every account has a fair daily allowance. It resets at midnight UTC. Adding tracks by hand, previews, store links and crates are unlimited.

Voice input does not work

Voice uses your browser's built-in speech recognition. It works in Safari on iPhone and in Chrome on desktop and Android, and is not available in Firefox or in some in-app browsers. If it is unavailable, the app tells you and you can type the track instead.

How do I use Trakzo like an app on my phone?

Open Trakzo in Safari on iPhone, tap the Share button and choose “Add to Home Screen”. On Android in Chrome, open the menu and choose “Install app”. A native iOS app is in preparation.

How do I delete my account?

Delete individual tracks and crates inside the app at any time. To remove your whole account and all of its data, use the account option in the app where available, or email support@trakzo.app from the address you signed up with. Deletion is completed within 30 days.

Where does my data go?

Your tracks and email are stored in Supabase so they can sync. Audio, photos and voice text go straight to the matching service and are not kept. Full details are on the privacy page.

Do the store links earn Trakzo anything?

Some do. If you buy a track after following a Beatport or Soundeo link, the store may pay a small commission. It costs you nothing extra and helps cover the identification costs.
